Published by American Society of Agronomy. All copyrights reserved. ABSTRACT
There is a need to increase the rice production in nonwaterstressed rice-growing areas during the wet season in Asia by the use of a suitable combination of a medium- or long-duration variety and appropriate nutrient management strategy. The crop growth simulation model ORYZA 1N was used for variety selection and N optimization in nonwaterstress conditions. Selection was made from 12 released rice varieties of 115 to 150 d duration. The model was calibrated using input data from field experiments that were conducted during the wet season (June–November) of 2001 at the Central Rice Research Institute, Cuttack, India. In the medium-duration varieties (115–130 d), there was good agreement between simulated and observed leaf View the complete article at - MY CHIPLIMA...SWEET HOMEHOME HOME SWEET HOME...THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE CHIPLIMA(VSS BOYS HOSTEL)HOME.....WHAT I WRITE ABOUT CHIPLIMA,CHIPLIMA IS SUCH A PLACE WHERE WE ALL CAN GET S0 MANY THINGS LIKE " HOW TO ADOPT IN ADVERSE CONDITION , HOW TO CREAT NEW FRIEND , HOW TO LIVE IN A CHIPLIMA FAMILY ,HOW TO RESPECT/TALK WITH SENIORS , HOW TO GIVE AFFECTION TO JUNIORS , HOW TO CREAT A DEEP FAITH ON GOD LIKE GHANTESWARI AND LASTLY HOW TO GET EXPERINCE IN AGRICULTURE MANY MORE...... Several employees fall prey to changing jobs quite often and in the process they lose their way in the corporate world
The short term lure for changing a job is very high and employees change jobs for the heck of joining a new company and fall to what I call as a “blind path”
It is important to keep the following yardsticks in mind before changing a job:
· Am I happy with my present job? · Am I motivated to come to my work place every day morning? · Am I motivated and content with the 9 hours which I spend at my work place without looking at the watch for the office hours to get over? · Do I foresee career growth for myself in my present company?
If the answer to most of the above questions is yes than one should continue with the present job
There is nothing like an ideal organization, every organization has its merits and demerits you have to define for yourself what motivates and propels you
